This year's Book Fest will be a week-long celebration starting on February 14th with a goody bag pickup and ending on February 18th with a prize giveaway. In between there are two virtual events: A discussion panel with guest authors and a special book club!

Tales Retold - Virtual Panel
Join authors Katee Robert, Jill Alexander Essbaum, Michelle Ruiz Keil, along with past Book Fest author Aminah Mae Safi in a discussion about modern retellings of classic stories. We’ll discuss what inspired them to write a retelling, why they wanted to highlight certain elements and so much more! The session will be followed by an audience Q&A.

Writing Workshop
Gain inspiration, learn a different style, and hone your craft in this workshop focused on retellings. We'll discuss what a retelling is, how to write a retelling, and then you'll write a scene of your own.

Book Fest Book Club
