Michelle Ruiz Keil, author of Summer in the City of Roses , will be participating in our  Tales Retold  panel session at Book Fest 2022! We can't wait! Michelle Ruiz Keil is the author of the critically acclaimed young adult novels Summer In The City of Roses and All of Us With Wings . Her writing for adults can be found most recently in Bitch Magazine, Cosmonauts Avenue, and The Buckman Journal. She is a 2021 Tin House Scholar and the recipient of residencies at Hedgebrook and The Sitka Center and the Bloedel Reserve. Aminah Mae Safi, author of upcoming Travelers Along the Way and past Book Fest guest will participate in our Tales Retold panel session at Book Fest 2022! Aminah Mae Safi is the author of four novels, including Tell Me How You Really Feel (Feiwel & Friends) and the forthcoming Travelers Along the Way : a Robin Hood Remix (Feiwel & Friends, 2022). She’s an erstwhile art historian, a fan of Cholula on popcorn, and an un-ironic lover of the Fast and the Furious franchise.
