We are excited to announce we're adding another story time to our Book Fest schedule!


At 12:15pm our new Children's Librarian, Miss Melissa will be presenting a story time in the Children's Area! Join us and meet our newest team member!

Book Fest 2022 Wrap Up

ICYMI, our week-long celebration of books and bookish-ness (AKA La Quinta Book Fest 2022) took place February 14-18. We hosted a panel session on retellings with four amazing authors, a book club with the book's author, and a writing workshop! Attendees also received a special Book Fest bag, free book, and were entered into a drawing to win SIGNED COPIES of our guest authors' books! We already have a few ideas for Book Fest 2023 and we'll start planning it soon! Yes, it does take a lot of time to plan something like this...but we love it! And we love that we can provide these types of events for our community. Author Michelle Ruiz Keil to Be Guest Panelist at La Quinta Book Fest 2022

Michelle Ruiz Keil, author of Summer in the City of Roses , will be participating in our  Tales Retold  panel session at Book Fest 2022! We can't wait! Michelle Ruiz Keil is the author of the critically acclaimed young adult novels Summer In The City of Roses and All of Us With Wings . Her writing for adults can be found most recently in Bitch Magazine, Cosmonauts Avenue, and The Buckman Journal. She is a 2021 Tin House Scholar and the recipient of residencies at Hedgebrook and The Sitka Center and the Bloedel Reserve.
